Capturing my experiences
For over 50 years I have walked with a camera, and found pleasure in capturing the experience of being in the places I have been, and seeing the things I have seen. Walking with a camera I tend to shoot "on the go", with a minimum of setting up, avoiding the extra weight of gear such as a tripod. I try to photograph what I see and feel, taking the time to ponder and absorb my surroundings, and enjoy the walk. It's usually a walk with a camera rather than a photoshoot, with a trade-off in technical perfection. Works for me.
Collected on these pages are some of my favourite images from recent years. Many are little more than a record, some have more impact, but for me all of them are filled with memories of how it was to be there. For now this collection reflects my landscape bias. You will notice that I see the world in colour, and have yet to discover black and white as a way of expressing myself.

I have pulled together groups of images associated by a sense of place, or by some thing. Not rigid, the logic debatable and clearly a lot of overlap - but interestingly different I hope.
