Norfolk
Winter trips to the North Norfolk coast have been particularly memorable. The abundance of bird life lends an added dimension to the wild landscape of shingle and marsh. Marsh harriers hunting for supper over Cley Marshes. Skeins of clanking pink footed geese returning to the coast from stubble field feeding grounds. Waders flying in from The Wash for the night just as light fails.

In summer quaint moorings, old huts in the dunes, boats, surf rattling shingle, quiet walks along the coast and carpets of sea lavender everywhere.
